My classmates and I had our singing recital tonight, after two semesters of voice lessons with the incomparable Joan Ellison. It was so much fun to hear my classmates embrace their beautiful voices, singing everything from Carrie Underwood to Sondheim. I busted out a little Pippin (Kind of Woman), and us ladies sang a trio from Waitress (The Negative). A lovely night, and one of the first big capstones of our last year of graduate school!
